COLEMAN R. CASSEL II, Ph.D, Chief Executive Officer, is a sixth generation resident of Grass Valley, California where he founded STARTOVERTODAY.COM™ in 2002. While balancing the demands of being a college athlete, Coleman obtained his B.S. degree from the University of Nevada. After working as an engineer for five years, he embraced his entrepreneurial spirit and embarked on a series of business ventures from local night clubs to clothing lines, totaling seven companies in all. While spending three-years extensively trading equities and options, he founded the company and has since helped thousands of individuals systematically turn burdened debt into assets through relations with over 20 financial solution providers. Additionally, Coleman is a licensed real estate agent and partner in Green Planet Power Solutions, Inc., a privately-held renewable energy company leading in the development of clean energy by using cutting edge proprietary technology to streamline the construction process.
FRED LACKER, Chief Operating Officer, resides in Roseville, California. At the age of 17, Fred decided to join the United States Marine Corps to continue his education. He returned a veteran of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, and was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps medals for heroism. After Fred was discharged, he embarked on a career in casino gaming spending 10-years as an executive in several Las Vegas casinos. During his tenure, he oversaw gaming operations and approved credit lines for high-end players and hotel guests at the once famous Frontier Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. Also gifted with an entrepreneurial spirit, Fred owned and operated five successful businesses of varied size during his time in Las Vegas. He has extensive training in business operation policies and procedures, human resources, and state laws. After meeting his wife Talena, and having their first of two children, Fred moved to California and entered the world of finance as a mortgage broker, owning and operating Pyramid Equity Solutions, Inc. in Sacramento, California. In 2007, Fred partnered with Coleman to grow STARTOVERTODAY.COM™ into a premier financial solutions company.
APRIL BAIRD, Vice President, Information Technology & Marketing, resides in Rocklin, California with her family. She has worked as an I.T. professional for the past 15 years, keeping abreast with the newest trends, security measures, certifications and information. April has started three successful small businesses including: event planning, high-end business technology consulting, and Internet sales campaigns. April is a Project Management professional and has a vast experience with a variety of corporate professionals in government, health care, sales, and non-profit organizations. She has worked with high end business such as Amazon.com, eBay, Inc. and the Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P., handling product sales, research and development on multi-billion dollar levels. She is motivated by potential growth and building long-term business contacts and associates.
LISA SYLVESTER, Branch Manager, resides in El Dorado Hills, California with her three children and dogs. Lisa began her career at Alpha Beta/Nugget Food Stores in Sacramento and quickly advanced into human resources, management and operations roles. Lisa and her husband partnered with his family and opened up the first of nine profitable family-owned and operated retail grocery stores around the country. Three states and 10 years later, Lisa and her family sold their grocery store chain and returned to her native state in California. After earning her Series 7 and Series 63 licenses, as well as her real estate license, Lisa worked as a financial advisor for Edward Jones Investments. In 2001, she started a successful custom windows covering company where she was the CEO for five years. Lisa’s vast entrepreneurial experiences led her to STARTOVERTODAY.COM™, where she has been a valuable asset and leader in helping the company reach its goals.
Robert Lewis, Administrative Assistant, resides in Roseville, California. He has 10 years of experience with technology having worked anywhere from a startup to a large corporation at Cisco Systems. He also has great knowledge in project management, business processes, marketing, and database design. He is also the newest member of our SOT team.
